Maintenance Unlacquered polished brass is a low-maintenance finish. It does not require any special cleaning or polishing products. However, it is important to note that unlacquered polished brass will continue to patina over time. If you do not like the look of a patina, you can polish the brass to remove it.
- Use a mild soap and water solution to clean the brass.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on unlacquered polished brass.
- To remove fingerprints or smudges, use a soft cloth.
- If the brass becomes dull, you can polish it with a brass polish.
- To prevent the brass from patinating too quickly, you can apply a clear coat of wax to the surface.
