    Michelle Williams lives in Tonalea, AZ.  Her mother is the noted Navajo pottery maker Alice Cling.

    Like all members of her family she uses local clay to mold her pots, fires them in the old way, and the covers them in pine pitch to waterproof them. The final step is to polish the piece to a very high finish.
